Music for Autism
Redesigned both the online concert participation flow and website structure to improve accessibility and engagement.
After the pandemic, participation in Music for Autism’s virtual concerts declined. This project restructured the full journey so users could more easily understand and engage with both the website and the online concert experience.
The existing experience had too much friction because sign-up, reminder emails, and participation flows were fragmented, and the website structure was repetitive and complex. Another challenge was how to create a sense of connection and participation inside the virtual concert itself.
- —7-week project with a team of four designers
- —Worked through weekly client meetings, research, interviews, prototypes, and design guidelines
- —Balanced accessibility improvements with a more immersive online experience
Unified a fragmented participation journey into one consistent platform and proposed a more connected and intuitive online concert experience.
Connected the flow from sign-up to concert participation more naturally within one platform.
